Under the alliance, Albert Fetaya, Partner at PGBA, is appointed YAFO Venture Partner and will work with YAFO team to complete high-value in-licensing and out-licensing engagements on both the buy- and sell-side. Mr. Fetaya’s accountabilities include:

→ Identifying and engaging global firms for China-based companies seeking development and commercialization partners in the ex-China market

→ Evaluating and sourcing ex-China biopharma assets and partners aligned with YAFO’s client mandates

→ Providing on-the-ground support for U.S.-based transaction counterparties on YAFO-led projects

→ Representing YAFO at leading U.S. business development conferences

Albert “Pat” Fetaya has extensive experience in biopharma business development and transactions. He previously held senior BD roles at Servier and Sun Pharma, and earlier worked in commercialization at Bristol Myers Squibb and business development at Johnson & Johnson, where he was involved in more than 30 transactions and supported Asia-Pacific BD activities.

The alliance combines YAFO’s established China market access, deep ecosystem knowledge, and cross-border deal experience with PGBA’s and Mr. Fetaya’s U.S. business development network, partnering relationships, and transaction expertise — providing clients on both sides of the Pacific with an expanded pathway for cross-border partnership opportunities.
